Watches & Wonders, held every spring in Geneva, is much more than a showcase: it has become the stage where luxury watchmaking firms reveal to the press, collectors and professionals the pieces that will set the trends for the year. 

This show, which brings together the world's most prestigious houses, stands out for its focus on innovation, craftsmanship and sustainability, pillars that define the evolution of the sector. At the 2025 edition, one of the big names was Cartier, whose launches reaffirmed its creative strength.

With over 175 years of history, Cartier has managed to combine elegance, timeless design and mechanical excellence. Its presence at Watches & Wonders is always eagerly awaited, and the brand did not disappoint.

Between zebra and tiger, the Panthère watch opts for both motifs.

Colours, contrasts, materials: Cartier dares abundance and light-filled colour ranges.

This new interpretation of the Panthère watch, a true feat of jewellery making, requires precise expertise in the workshops, particularly for the lacquering work - the lacquer is applied by hand and fired at high temperatures in our Maison des Métiers d'Art - as well as for the snow-setting of the dial with 145 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Entirely set with 314 brilliant-cut diamonds and 86 spessartines, the emblematic bracelet of the Panthère watch unfurls its links like a myriad of gradations of jewels, polished and set one by one.

The Tank Louis Cartier watch is equipped with a self-winding Manufacture mechanical movement. Integrated with the lines and proportions of the Tank, the movement, christened 1899 MC, amplifies the size of the Tank Louis Cartier watch, which is available in pink and yellow gold.

This collection, a benchmark for watchmaking enthusiasts, this year unveils the Tank à Guichets watch, available in a limited edition, which offers a numerical display of the time.

The new Tank à Guichets watch beats to the rhythm of the hand-wound 9755 MC movement, a calibre with jumping hours and continuous minutes on the dial developed especially for it. As on the original watch, the winding crown is located at 12 o'clock.

The two faces of a unique watch

This creation, a cross between watchmaking and jewellery, combines elements linked to the Maison's stylistic history: the three-dimensional panther sculpture and the toi&moi bracelet.

It owes its realism to the subtle fur, a signature expertise of the Maison that consists of folding the metal around the onyx to create small threads that evoke hair.

Against the panther, the diamond is omnipresent, from the fully gem-set dial to the snow-set pavé bracelet.

With this collection, in which the circle contrasts with the line and the smooth surfaces with the fine relief of the setting, Cartier pays tribute to the legacy of Jeanne Toussaint, Cartier's first female creative director in 1933. An inspiration that gives rise to several unique versions.

For this creation, Cartier has exaggerated and magnified the classic attributes of the watch. Instead of a traditional geometric shape, the extra-large claws are transformed into an organic and sensual intertwined element in the style of vintage Cartier jewellery.
