diamantes naturales

In a world where things are increasingly ephemeral, natural diamonds remind us that precious things take time. They are formed over millions of years, under extreme pressure and temperature conditions in the depths of the earth. To become the quintessential symbol of eternity, purity and true love.

What is a natural diamond?

A natural diamond is a precious stone composed of pure crystallised carbon, formed over a period of 1 to 3.3 billion years, some 150-200 km below the earth's surface. Its slow and unique natural formation process gives it not only an unparalleled brilliance, but a value that transcends fashions and technologies.

Unlike laboratory diamonds, which can be produced in a short time by industrial methods such as HPHT or CVD, natural diamonds are relics of the earth's history. No two diamonds are alike, making them truly unrepeatable jewels.

Why choose natural diamonds?

3. Incomparable brilliance and fire

Although at first glance the two may appear similar, experts agree that natural diamonds have a richer, deeper, more vivid dispersion of light. Their ‘fire’ - the way they break white light into flashes of colour - is simply inimitable.

4. Emotional connection of diamonds

Natural diamonds have witnessed the world's greatest love stories. They are the stars of engagement rings, anniversaries and family legacies. They are stones that don't just sparkle: they tell a story, convey a message and become part of the wearer's identity.

What about synthetic diamonds?

So-called ‘laboratory diamonds’ or synthetic diamonds are physically similar to natural diamonds, but have neither their history nor their uniqueness. Their proliferation on the market has led to consumer confusion, but has also reduced their commercial value.

Emotionally, a lab-created diamond is neither a rarity nor a miracle of nature. It is a technological product, not a creation of time and the earth.

They are an economic choice, yes, but they do not represent a symbol of exclusivity.

Natural gemstones: a philosophy of life

The same principle that we apply to diamonds can be extended to all natural gemstones: sapphires, rubies, emeralds... Each with its unique formation process, its unrepeatable inclusions and colours. Natural is imperfect, and that imperfection is what makes it beautiful, valuable and authentic.
